Two new additions arrive August 6th on Anthology’s Surf Archives: Tully’s Sea of Joy and Tamam Shud’s Evolution, soundtracks to director Paul Witzig’s celebrated surf films of the same name. 1971’s Sea Of Joy comes from Australian hard rockers Tully, inspired by the film to explore a more mellow sound. 1969’s Evolution represents Tamam Shud’s debut album, a fuzzed out and progressive guitar-driven score worthy of its name.
