We here at Mexican Summer are pleased as the sun to announce that our lovely subscribers will be receiving a golden gift this month- the exclusive release of 2 Sides Of,  a double trouble selection of songs by psyche-folk cult legend, Bobb Trimble. Based in Massachusetts, Bobb released two full-lengths, 1980's Iron Curtain Innocence and 1982's Harvest of Dreams. After the latter's release, Trimble's ceased. Over the next two decades, he gained a huge cult following, which included Mexican Summer alum Ariel Pink and Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore. His records, originally pressed in quantities of 500 or less, became massive collectors items, some selling for as much as $1,500.  Thanks to the amazing Kris Thompson and Secretly Canadian Records (who reissued both albums in full length format) we are excited to join in the mission to bring these treasure tunes out there. If you know these songs, its a treat-If you never heard of Trimble, buckle up for a rainbow ride.
